THE DESIGN
Bold, Declarative, and Seamless–these are the defining characteristics in the making of A March Through Time. Each component was developed on a cellular level.
From entrance to exit, the mapping is designed with the intention of transformation. It’s about continuity—a subtle, but undeniable thread of history woven through every detail.
Modular in form and construction, the show will adapt to each city that it travels; maintaining its core components while presenting new information specific to relevant pioneers in its host city.
The architectural firm ToyaStudio is collaborating with McCalman.Co on the engineering and rendering of the sets — prioritizing craft, beauty, and interactive flow.
“This is a truly exciting project, which is presenting some challenging and exciting opportunities to solve for an audience that is hungry for this cultural information,” said ToyaStudio principal John Toya.
